hamptons.ie is funded in part through affiliate and referral links. When you book an activity or a stay through certain links on this site, we may earn a commission. This never costs you anything extra.

How to recognise them

• Affiliate links carry a visible Affiliate label, and the page they appear on explains the relationship in plain words.
• Technically, affiliate links use rel="sponsored" so search engines can tell they are commercial.
• All outbound links go through a checked, allow-listed redirect (/go/…), so we can verify where each link actually goes.

Test data is not a real offer

During this early build, some offers, events and experiences on the site are clearly-marked test records. They exist to show how the site works. They are not real products, not real events, and any link from them leads to a placeholder page. They are always labelled Test data.

What we will not do

• We will not present a paid or sponsored placement as editorial.
• We will not accept payment to make a place rank higher in search.
• We will not publish an offer we have not checked, and we will date the check.
